Agenda

1. To receive apologies and reasons for absence
Cllrs. Gadd and Konrad.

2. To approve the minutes of the meeting of 11th June, 2011
Resolved to approve the Minutes of the meeting at full council meeting on 11th June, 2011 subject to the addition of four refusals to the Minutes of the 25th June, 2011 meeting. District advise that the committee’s comment (point 3) relating to the Premises Licence application were covered by details included in the accompanying Event Management Plan which had not been forwarded.

3. To receive declarations of interest in items on the agenda
There were none.

4. Public Forum
Two members of the public provided background details and comments regarding their own applications and provided additional information to assist with the committee’s decisions.

Objection expressed as the proposed extension is larger than the Design Guide (sect. 10.5) and further contravenes the Guide as it does not conform to the 1.5 m set-back and does not balance the street scene. The proposed loss of another smaller property in the Parish would also be regretted.

Cllrs. Bell and Berger’s details passed to District as witnesses to the property having been used for commercial purposes for many years.

7. Urgent issues at the discretion of the Chairman for noting
The decision to review the format and processes required when application papers are only received electronically is to be carried forward. A trial run with two applications to be conducted at the next meeting. Cllr. Standley is to send details of the Development Boundary to the chairman.
