RECREATION GROUND MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE

AGENDA
1.            To receive apologies and reason for absence.
2.            To receive declarations of interests on items on the Agenda.
3.            To approve the minutes of the meeting held 1st September, 2011.
4.            To determine matters arising from the previous minutes.
5.            Public Forum – time limit 15 minutes.
6.            Tennis Matters.
6.1          To receive report.
6.2          To discuss quotations received for re-surfacing the tennis courts and make recommendations to full council.
6.3          To discuss sectioning off the Pay and Play court and consider associated actions.
7.            Junior Football Matters.
7.1          To receive report.
7.2          To note progress with hedge coppicing.
7.3          To discuss quotation for high fencing at Voelcker field and approve funding arrangement.
7.4          To discuss purchase of WUJFC grass protection mats, consider associated actions and approve costs.
7.5          To discuss spraying grassed areas for worms and approve costs.
7.6          To note that final element of work to Voelcker field is postponed to Spring, 2012.
8.            Play Area/Equipment.
8.1          To note report of ROSPA inspector, agree remedial action and approve costs.
8.2          To discuss pagoda project.
8.3          To discuss sensory garden.
9.            Pavilion.
9.1          To note offer by British Gas Business to supply electricity to pavilion.
10.          To consider maintenance/operating issues and improvements and authorise expenditure.
10.1        To discuss request for a disabled parking bay.
10.2        To discuss additional lighting to bottom steps at lower car park and approve costs.
10.3        To discuss progress regarding low level lighting between pavilion and top car park.
10.4        To approve payment of ROPSA inspection costs of £205.00 + VAT.
11.          Budget.
11.1        Toreview spend to date.
12.          General Matters.
12.1        To agree dates for 2012 meetings.
12.2        To discuss allotment holder’s request regarding boundary fence and hedge.
12.3        To note response to Wadhurst Dramatic Club’s request to hold an event on the Voelcker field. 
12.4        To note request to use main field for a fitness ‘boot camp’ during January, 2012
13.          Urgent issues at the discretion of the Chairman for noting or inclusion on future agenda.
