The Pension Service deals with all people over the age of 60 years. Their aim is "to combat poverty and promote security and independence in retirement for today's and future pensioners". Their website can be found here

The Citizens' Advice Bureau comes to Wadhurst every Wednesday morning in Carillon Cottage and provides a first line of support for those with questions about the State pension service
