It has only been in recent years that I have taken to painting using acrylic which happened during a period back in 2007 while having therapy for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
My exhibition at Field House Dental Practice, consisting of 20 paintings, is therefore solo exhibition number two before my first in central London next March.
I am inspired daily by the colours, shapes and textures found around us and paint pictures that I hope people will find pleasing to the eye and would therefore be happy to hang on their walls.
Having recently been elected to the Board of Trustees for OCD-UK I am keen to raise awareness of this mental illness and to raise funds for the charity, so 10% of all sales will be given to support their work.
